Good to know... Generally Koni's have a good reputation, but I haven't heard much relative to the 986...

I just had a conversation with one of their engineers about them.

Their HQ is 6 miles away from me.

FSD is great for DD'er. Sport for the AutoX'er or weekend racer.

Any idea of the difference between FSD and new Special Active, besides gold vs red paint job?

I love FSD on SAAB 9-5 with stock sports suspension, and wondering about match with Boxster with H&R 30mm lower than stock springs. It looks like no issues as long as I won't bottom out the suspension and hit bump stop?

From what I’ve read the Special Actives are the FSD’s rebranded basically.

If you think you're gonna get serious about track work, don't bother. Its an interim step and you'll want more quickly. I recently bought feal single adjustable coilovers and its a big step up from my bilstein HD/H&R setup.

QC, which Bilsteins were you running? I was looking at the B12 setups as a possibility as the lowering range is fairly minimal. I need to look into the Feals

The b8 hd. Fine product just not quite right for my ultimate goals

Yup. That's what I hear too.
