Door window problem
 

I just replaced the battery on my '02S and now am unable to close the windows on both doors. They go down all the way using the console switches, but only come up to within about 4 inches from the top. Both the owners manual and the Bently book tell you to cycle the windows using the console switches from the lowered to the closed position...but they won't fully close. Interestingly, they will open and close all the way using the door key. I'm stumped.

I found the answer...I had undone the top latch when working on the car last week and forgot to lock it into place. The microswitch wasn't closed.
