Anyone FVD tuv version installed?

Is anyone running the TUV version of the FVD muffler and have a sound clip? Just curious as how much difference in volume they are between stock and sound version.

Was thinking a good set you would be long tube headers, 200 cell cats and the tuv. Version, to tone it down some. Anythoughts?

Cunningr, get the FVD Sound Version it is actually not too loud for normal driving, but it gets a NICE sound when you step on the gas.

We live at the very end of a gated community and drove out of the house at 5:30 am for several years and never got a complain from my neighbors

PS: Te va a encantar el sonido del escape, es como deberia de haber salido de la fabrica

That was my original plan, but wasn't sure if I add headers and sport cats if it would amp up the sound too much.

If all goes as planned I'll have mine upgraded this week and try to get a sound clip up.

I'm not doing headers. Just catless midpipes and the FVD Sound Version.

I would be interested in hearing that setup. That was my original intent but didnt realize the ROW cars only have 1 set of cats. So reevaluating the exhaust config. Want performance but want to keep the sound levels in check.

I would like to add that I was using the SpeedArt (FVD Brombacher) Sound Version with the OEM headers & cats..

Therefore, I am assuming that if you remove the cats or use catless headers the sound should be considerably louder

You don't get too much extra volume with the headers.

Ok cool! Question you drive all over Europe you ever get into Southern Spain?

So I think my exhaust goal will be new headers, 200 cell sport cats and a fvd sound version muffler.

Only around the Pyrenees, Picos and into Portugal around Douro valley and Braganca.

The set up you want won't be too loud. An eBay special topspeed exhaust will be louder but not as nice a tone or noise.

I was concerned more about the combination than the muffler only. Ordering it after vacation.

So.....

.....my combination is a USA 2004 "S" with the factory headers and cats, a Circuit Werkes secondary pipe that has NO cats, and then the FVD Brombacher "Sound Version" muffler.

So my car has only one set of cats, like a Euro car.

It sounds as perfect as a street car can sound.

You will be pleased.

I have videos of a drive by, but those type of videos on a computer are actually useless in deciding how a car will actually sound underneath you.
