M030 strut size versus standard struts...

Are the M030 struts / shocks shorter than the standard items?

Thanks.

I am sure they are different, because in the parts catalog you have to specify m030 option or not when ordering new struts. I would think a little shorter, as the m030 option lowers the car.

I don’t know the answer but it brought up another question for me. My car did not come with the m030 option, but I purchased the entire kit from a dealer a few years back. I suppose I knew what that entailed at the time, but now I have no idea what I would say if I had to replace suspension components. Does anyone know if that kit would qualify as having the m030
Option?

If you bought the complete kit then you have m030 option. If not mistaken that would be a factory retrofit. I am planning that for next year.

As someone who updated his 2003 S from standard to ROW M030 I can say I believe it is a nice upgrade!
