Noise
 

Hi

Ok, I just bought 98 Boxster with 42k. Car is clean and runs great. This is my first Porsche (used to be MBZ guy). My question: I know this is convertible car but even with the top up I gat a lot of noise (as wind, other cars etc..) almost the same, as the top is not up. Even when parked I can hear everything behind me. Is this normal ? I know that top is not made of soundproof material. I love the car and I have no issues with this, just making sure this is normal.

Pretty normal for a convertible, does your 98 have a top lining? that will cut down noise.

"Enjoy and welcome to Porsche ownership"- I think I am enjoying this car to much. I did test drive BMW, Infinity, etc... but there is nothing like it. Styling, speed, unique Porsche sound, I better stop I am drooling over my keyboard.... :D
