Did anybody solve issue with removing rear drop links from wheel carrier?
I already tried everything, now I decided to drill it out as a last chance.
Well, whole story started with old rusted catalitic converter. So I ordered both new, and started to disassemble exhaust. But I found out during process that my cv boots are torn, so I ordered new boots and refresh and rebuilt cv joints (axles) clean botom aluminium cover plate, repaint cv joints and repaint sway bar to be nice and clean. Also ordered four new drop links.
And here is where the problems starts. I started to assemvle all back together, and I thought next day I can finally drive my car, but noooooooo way, drop links are rusted, stucked, seized (or how to write), like a hell.
I tried heating with torch, freezing bolt with spray, turning it with socket and breaking bar.....until it breaks at the end, with no result to get it out.
Is drilling last chance?
