'99 2.5L Runs fine, intermittent check engine light

Hello,

My 99 2.5L Manual Boxster has just over 133K. Recently it's been the victim of a intermittent check engine light that will come on, go off, then stay a few days.

I was able to pull these codes
Porsche Error Codes6/8/18
P0410
Secondary air injection system Cylinder (1-3) Signal implausible

P1411
Secondary air injection system Cylinder (4-6) Signal implausible

P1124
Oxygen sensing range 1 Cylinder (1-3)

P1126
Oxygen sensing range 1 Cylinder (4-6)

P0442
Fuel tank ventilation minor leak below limit value

I cleared the codes with my Durametric and it's been fine ever since.

Any ideas?

I don’t know what the exact cause of your errors are, but If you need to replace any of your SAI components, I have a full set minus the crossover tube available. Removed from my ‘98 at 46k miles & working fine when my car crossed the grandfather line and no longer has to pass emissions.
Will let it all go cheap.

How do you remove the SAI system?

Ironically my errors came up as secondary to P0446 error. If Aanic does not take parts, I will.
How do you know pump is running?

No issues on my end, no parts needed. Was more interested by the idea of removing unnecessary smog equipment. Any performance or other benefits? Easy to do?

I did it to save about 10lbs of weight for autocross. Having completed it, I would only recommend this if you are taking the intake manifold off for another reason. Too much work for this by itself.

There are several components involved and it is rarely the air pump that fails. If it's working, you'll hear it at cold startup.

FYI: p0446 has nothing to do with the SAI system. That's an EVAP code.

at cold startup. So maybe the sound that I think is the fan working is the air pump. Also, I have started to diagnose the EVAP problem and will go after the valve near intake and the canister. Already replaced the tank valve on canister.
Thanks Particle.

Secondary Air Injection System (cold starting emissions system, about 14 parts and lots of hoses). Both renntech and 986 have diagnostic instructions and there is even a flow chart and parts diagram. I captured some SAI stuff here.
