After I just ran a track day and AX, I felt my suspension felt tired (98k on stock everything) and overly soft. I had someone drive it at the AX without mentioning it, and their thought was it needed some suspension work - so good to confirm without giving any upfront "direction".
I just ordered the Tarett DE kit which is essentially sway bars, drop links, and rear toe links. Also ordered Ksport coilovers with 400 front 500 rear springs. I don't want to go too crazy with this car just yet, and since Ksports come with camber plates I thought economical choice to start, as mostly after more front camber than too much lower and I have read about a few guys on this board running them with reasonably good reviews.
My plan was to put everything in the middle settings (sway bars are adjustable), maybe drop the car to ROW M030 specs which I think is about 10 or 20mm lowered, get the car re-aligned to max out the front camber, and see what it felt like.
Any better advise out there than that? Car is meant for track first, AX second, then I drive it around just because it's a fun car to drive, but I have other cars for daily/street use. This isn't my first time swapping out suspension, but with all the settings everything has on these parts, wondering where the best place to start is. I'm running stock tire sizes (205/50/17 front and 255/40/17 rear). next time around might bump up to 225 fronts to help with understeer, but I know sway bar setting will effect that as well.
