Creaking noise...

I dont know if anyone can help, but my boxster makes a creaking noise whenever I'm slowing down and about to stop. Does anybody know what it's likely to be?

Thank you!*

my best guess is suspension...When you stop, your suspension is being forced backwards and when you accelerate, the suspension is being forced forward which is all natural but there is something in your suspension that has become fatigued or damaged due to an accident.

Your going to have to take your car to a dealer for inspection. suspension is pretty much impossible to pin point issues by searching the internet, The car needs to be looked at by a trained eye.

A few people have said it might be the suspension so you have confirmed it for me! She's booked in next week so fingers crossed it'll be sorted soon. Thank you!
