Window switch removal

It's easy to disconnect the electrical connectors from the switches, but how do you remove the switches from the plastic trim piece? It looks like the switches or the trim piece (or both) will break if I don't know what I am doing.

Tom, you are right, both the switches or the trim pieces are very easy to break (at least on the 987's..) be very careful when you pull them apart.
