2000MY 986 directional indicator/blinker problem
 

A few days ago my blinkers / directional indicators stopped working.

The hazard button still works and all 6 blinkers flash as normal,
When locking and unlocking the car, again, all 6 blinkers flash.
But when using the stalk to indicate one way or another, nothing happens. There is a positive click from the stalk itself into position but no flash from any outside light, no relay clicking nor any flashing of the green arrow on the instrument cluster?

Anyone have a similar issue before?
Unfortunately it is such a silly little issue but it is stopping me from using the car.
