Electrical issues...Window stuck down and Roof won't go up or down.
 

Hi All,

I have been slowly working away on my Boxster. It is a 98 2.5!

It lay up for the last six months and for 6-7 years before that by the previous owner. I track the car occasionally but want it on the road this Summer.

I had a hard top. The car came with a destroyed softtop so I bought a used one. I have fitted this along with a new clam shell bracket which was cracked.

There she is finally with a soft top. The handbrake light comes on OK. A previous owner did this...any idea what it is?

Long story short, the soft top makes a click when you press the button but will not go up or down... Any suggestions?

Also my passenger window is stuck down, it also rattles when you close the door. I disassembled the door to check and clean the motor etc. The motor clicks when you hold the window switch when down and moves freely when disconnected. It will not move the window wither up or down?
All help appreciated.
