1998 Boxster O2 sensors

Just bought 4 O2 sensors for my 1998 2,5 Boxster, but when i was replacing them i found that my car only have 2 sensors, Pre-Cat and no Post Cat... Looks like the exhaust is original and there is no hole for O2 sensors after the cat`s. Was the early Boxsters only delivered with 2 O2 sensors and if so, when did they start using 4 per car ?

My '99 has 4.
To my knowledge, no 986 was equipped from the factory with only 2. Not sure what you have going on. :confused:

My '98 my97 2.5 boxster have only 2 precats o2. ROW version. Without secondary air pump.
Maybe you have a ROW version.

where the post cat should be is blinded with a bolt and i do not see any cables hanging either.. But what is row? Car doesent have any extra equipment, meaning strictly basic version in all means ?

2 versions.
USA-> 4 lambda and secondary air pump

ROW(rest of world)-> 2 lambda without secondary air pump.
