ipd plenum and air intake tube question

Good Afternoon,

I recently purchased an IPD plenum and larger throttle body for my 2001 986 S.

It came with a new formed larger air intake tube as well.

When I went to look at doing the install I noticed that the stock air intake tube has two sensors on it but the new one does not.

Has anyone installed this before and can give me an idea of what to do?

Thanks.

M

Ok, these aren't sensors but resonance chambers.
It's OK just put the IPD tube and you're good to go!

This is the first time I see that.
Do you know where is goes?

This is not a high vacuum area, so I don't know what it does... You'll have to wait on the more knowledgeable ones here ;)

Splits off and one end goes to the firewall and the other connects to the intake.
