Durametric

I have been offered a "great deal" on an original Durametric cable that comes with v4. Should that be enough to reset codes and do basic stuff or should I spend more and get a current one?

Thanks

What is the "great deal"

Tre software is in ver 6 now and IIRC, the old cables cannot be used with Ver 6
Not 100% sure that is correct

Check out the durametric website to see that has changed

Yeah the cable was for V4 so I just ordered a refurb cable from Durametric. Good price full warranty.

Thanks

What was the cost on the refurb cable? A new one is $287 so I'm curious what the discount is.

Last time I checked, refurbished cables are $225 shipped from Durametric. ;)

$217 plus shipping was the price today and they had a "few" There were several shipping choices.

Any downside to the refurbished cable? I'd expected a big discount then this?

No...same cable same warranty as new.
