gear stick centering

Hi have noticed that the self centering into the lateral gate (across movement) when driving is a bit wishy washy, is their any lubricating I can do to improve this. Thanks

Best I can offer is replace the shifter end cable connectors and add the tranny end TuneRS safety clips. I just did both to my 2003 S along with re-lubing of all the contacts points and bushings and it feels like a new shifter.

The other option is go with a new shifter, maybe short shift kit.
