First oil change since ownership. Looked in the filter, and...

...IT'S CLEAN! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I was dreading this day. It's the first time I've done a service on the car and didn't want to find anything in the filter at all, but the oil was lovely and clean, and the filter is as clean as a whistle. New set of sparks, oil filter, oil, air filter, wipers, and off we go. Running smooth and putting an enormous smile on my face.

Well, that was until someone pulled out on me and dented my car. She admitted responsibility and paid me on the spot. Good thing is that it's been repaired today (paintless dent repair, no respray needed) and it's as good as new - and it cost half of what she gave me! So I've just topped up the air con and filled up the tank

Happy days.

I remember feeling the same way, after my first oil change.
