Seat buckel change out

An OBC check found that my drivers side seat belt buckle is defective and causing my air bag warning light to be on. Can I change the seat belt buckle Assy on the drivers side ( including unplugging the electrical connector) without removing the seat from the car. ??????

I seriously doubt it, the wiring is bundled up under the seat and you won't be able to get to the connectors without taking the seat out.

The good news - taking the seat out is very easy, 4 bolts, and then unclip one connector. If you put the top down first you will have plenty of room to work.

Oddly I can't find a DIY for seat removal but I know there are several on here, I just can't find them...
