RoboTop 2.0 Tester Needed

We have completed the development of Version 2.0 of the RoboTop one-touch convertible top controller and I am looking for someone to test it (since my Spec Boxster has a fixed fiberglass roof).

RoboTop - One Touch Top Control

Works with all 986 Boxster's 1997-2004.

I will ship you the RoboTop unit and email a short list of tests to run (one touch open, one touch close, manual open, manual close, one touch to service position, etc). Shouldn't take more than 15-20 mins from start of installation to finish. Then email the results back to me.

In return for your time and use of your Boxster, you can keep the unit at no cost (or if we find problems in this version, I'll send you an updated unit at no cost).

PM me if you're interested.

Happy to also test it for you if it does not work out with alm001.

I'm in Los Angeles with an 03 Boxster S if you still need a tester.

When tested and ready for sale please send me a PM and I'll post it on our UK BoXa.net forum, I bought one years ago when I had my 986 fantastic bit of kit, I'm sure it will go down well again over here.
Guvs.

If this allows me to move the top when the car is moving (very slowly), then I'm in. Let me know when you have something I can buy.

Yes, this switch along with an easy mod will let you put the top up/down with one touch of the button while moving (without engaging the handbrake).

Put me on the list when these things go on sale :-)

Gotta try haven't I :-)

If you need this testing on a European car just shout, obviously our steering wheel is on the right, (or wrong) side so may work differently.

Heck, you & I both know that it will but thought I'd offer my services lol

Cheers, Shane, (UK)
