OBD II Software

I have a 02 Boxster S and just bought an OBD II adapter. The generic software just tells the basics. Does anyone have recommendations for good OBD II software that specifically targets Boxsters' set of sensors?

I'm not even sure what sensors are on the car and which ones I can read through OBD II.

Thanks.

Go to digimoto.com to check out their software.
While not just for the Boxster this software will return real-time data on whatever the car is sending to the OBD II connector.
It will also do 0 - 60 time, 1/8 mile time and speed, 1/4 mile time and speed.
They also have a screen with 7 gauges and a page where you can chart up to 4 parameters in real time. A laptop is the way to go.
It's relatively inexpensive.

Some of the data that is displayed can be seen here: http://digimoto.com/images/main.jpg

I used and love the pocket logger. Runs on a palm pilot and is very user friendly. Shows every stat the ecu see's and you can log the stats as you drive, pretty cool device. I have used it on a crap load of different cars with very good success. It also reads and clears OBD codes.

Sensors

Thansk for the recommendations.

Does anyone have a factory manual with a list of what sensors are available on the Porsche?

I know GM cars has various profiles for different models.

Factory standard reading

Also, is there is a list somewhere of what the factory standard limits are for the various sensors.

I would like to know if my readings are within normal baseline range for future reference.

I love my AutoTap

Here's another one for about the same price that can clear some of the Porsche codes too (like the airbag light). I had already bought the AutoTap or I would get this one. http://www.durametric.com/index.php

Here's a list of what it does: http://www.durametric.com/modelfeaturematrix.php
