ABS and pad wear sensors

last weekend I replaced the front wheel bearings but failed to properly mark the position of the ABS and wear pad sensors, both of these plug into a single connector
on the front top of the wheel hub, the connector has two plugs, on top and bottom, and looks something like this:

___________
[ top ] .
[__________]___._________________
[ bottom ] cable harness
[_______________________________

Could someone please tell me if the ABS sensor connects to the top or the bottom connector?

Thank you in advance

PS: I am getting now flashing lights switching from ABS Failure and PSM Failure..

I think the brake pad sensor is the one that is away from the rotor (possibly top) and the speed sensor is the one closest to the rotor. if you only did the fronts, can you look at the backs and trace which one leads to the brake sensor?

I can peek behind a wheel tonight and let you know if you don't find it before then.

In this picture, the left hand lighter colored plug is the brake wear sensor. This pic is from a Cayman but they should all be the same. This pic is from the following thread (registration required I think) Cayman Register

Thanks Steve,

I decided to remove the wheel to have more access, and after close examination the double connector have different plugs inside, therefore they can only be plugged in one direction, and finally I was able to clear all the codes.

Hopefully the codes won't return in the morning.. LOL

Regards, Gilles

PS, I have a CS too
