Eibach COILOVER Purchase OPINIONS NEEDED

Hey everyone.

I'm wondering if anyone has Eibach Coilovers. A guy is selling them for $780 (here on our forum also), but I can't find anything on them. Apparently, they are discontinued, and the seller explained that Eibach merely promoted their product a bit late. Therefore, Eibach is simply trying to rid of them. He claims that they are comparable to the H&R coilovers, "maybe a bit better."

What do you guys suggest? Everyone I know has never heard of Eibach making coilovers (for reasons mentioned above). I trust the seller, but I just wanted to get a second opinion.

In all honesty, my box is a daily driver, and my shocks are going/gone. I figured instead of getting some Blisten HD's for about $600+, might as well get these and get some handling improvement. Also, I understand that coilovers don't need spring compressors for the install; (i.e. easier install)

here's a link to some pictures (unless he posted some already in our classified)

FYI, I deleted the thread in the FS forum because he made it seem like he personally had these Eibachs but instead is fronting them for someone "unidentified" at Eibach at no profit to himself. I encourage you to support our sponsors, EPIQ, Vertex, 986online.

They will be an easier install than just the coil spring.

I chose to get my Coil-Overs instead of just the lowered spring as installation/alignment costs were the same. I bout my Voightland directly from the manufacturer and had them installed at www.herg.net

Hope this helps with your decision. I don't see a problem with the Eibach coil-overs, as long as their new.
