Diagnosis gurus?

Hi Guys;

I have a 2004 base Boxster. The engine was replaced by Porsche in September 2013. Here is my problem: There is a whistling/whining sound coming from the right rear. It is more pronounced on de-acceleration. I can't replicate it when stopped and revving the engine I don't seem to hear the sound either. The car still performs well, but the sound is annoying to say the least. From my minimal poor description, anyone have an idea as to what's going on? Pulley while under load? Thanks, Mitch.

Check your exhaust connections on that side.

Turbo decel whistle ? Being factitious, just put a TT sticker on your car.Enthusiasts will think you retrofitted a 996TT engine :-).
JFP is right & it is a great excuse to get underneath to check everything before the cool New York winter begins.
Vacuum leak ?
