transmission drain plug

anyone know the drain (not fill) plug size on a 986 6-speed transmission? no part numbers anywhere (except for the 5-speed which I think is different). I thought it was M24x1.5 but am thinking now it is M22???

It appears the plug part number is 900.219.001.02 and the sealing ring is 900.123.118.30. The plug is M22 1.5.

yeah, I found that one, but it shows as the fill plug on the 6-speed, unless the fill and drain plugs are the same size?

Got it! The above one is the fill. The below is the drain. Part number 986-397-013-01 is the new part number replacing 986-397-013-00.

for the auto transmission!

and WHT001937 is for the 5-speed!

it's crazy that the 6-speed drain plug is so elusive. and not just for the 986 - no info on the 996 drain plug either (presumably the same, as the transmission cases are the same).
