Suspension lift via compensating rings

I know there are a variety of different thinkness compensating rings to fine tune ride height on the US/RoW setups. I have also heard some markets had multiple rings stacked.

Could these rings be used to achieve an appreciable lift, like 25mm, with the stock 986 suspension? I might be able to pick up a second set of wheels and snow tires on the cheap, and was thinking about ice racing the 986. I would need more ground clearance and haven't seen anything for rallycross short of full custom ($$).

apparently pss9's can manage a 1" lift. I think the tough part would be getting any kind of sensible alignment afterwards given the limited adjustability of the oem control arms.

Not enough camber adjustment? Hmm.
