Fuel leak at tank connection
I have a NTM 2003 S, my IPM noticed a small leak where the fuel line connects to the tank. Has anyone found a way to replace/repair the connector, or does the complete line have to be replaced?
Thank for any info. |
Do you have a picture of what it looks like? You can probably cut off the connector and put a new one in with a heat gun. I've done this before on in a different location. You can also get a compression fitting and just replace a portion of the line. If it's the connection that I'm thinking about I can send you one if you pay for shipping.

pull the connector off and see if you can fish out the oring, match it and reinstall

If you think you may have a matching connection, I can repay you the shipping via PayPal. There may be a light at the end of the tunnel, thanks. |
I just took out my carbon canister so I have a bunch of connections from that. They are 90 degree quick connect fittings. There are two square white buttons on each side that you press to disconnect them. Here's a random image I found online. Is this what it looks like?
