Coolant leak.

I just noticed my car was leaking a decent amount of coolant the oher day. I took it apart and it is the center radiator that was leaking. It was actually leaking internally and out one of the mounting points on the end caps. I just thought this would be intersting to share. I guess its time for a new center radiator. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1433108488.jpg

Perfect excuse to drop a CSF Radiator in it. ;)

Those are great an all but I need the center radiator. They only make the outer rads. :( Who has the best prices on oem center rads?

JAAY 05-31-2015 04:22 PM

Also oem or aftermarket?

That is the center radiator. They finally came out with them.

JAAY 05-31-2015 04:50 PM

Grr....... You're going to make me have to buy one of them. :)

KRAM36 05-31-2015 05:39 PM

lol, I'd like to have them. The price to replace something that's not broken stops me.

$168.12 more then the stock Porsche rad.

Mine is broken but do I really need a aluminum center radiator? It's not like you can pop the hood and check out my new blingy piece. Do they really make that much of a difference?

Just a quick update. I just ordered the CSF Center radiator from LN. I'll take pics when it gets here.

Nice! That's sweeeeet. Should last longer, curios how much it helps out on cooling.

JAAY 06-12-2015 04:51 PM

We shall see. I need to get some coolant for the project. Anything other than porsche brand that i can mix in with porsche coolant?

Interested if it made any difference in cooling when your pushing it hard.
