Headlight assembly question

Between model years 2000 to 2004, is there any difference in the headlight assembly? I need to replace mine and I am finding some labelled as being for a 2003 at a reasonable price and others for my 2002 at a much more expensive price (all are Magneti Marelli assemblies).

The reasonably priced ones are their part numbers W0133-1647721 and W0133-1647722 while the one that is supposed to match my 2002 is part number W0133-1646675.

The funny thing is if I filter on this site for a 2003 it lists all three - Auto Parts Catalog, but if I filter to 2002, it only lists the expensive one.

Model years 98-04 will fit. I think parts geek has them for around $400 each. Not sure about shipping to Canada though.

Shipping to Canada isn't an issue, I can drive over the border to pick them up.

Too bad you are asking now. Maybe 6-8 years ago lots were available cheap as many Boxster people were installing Litronics kits. Then Porsche upped the price on the kits a great deal and the urge to change slowed drastically as putting in a $2k headlight in a $40k car is one thing, into a $12k car is something else.

You want to be sure the corners are included, the lenses are clear and the units functional. As a bonus, you usually end up with spare bulbs from your old ones.

Price difference is because the W0133-1646675 is a projector light while the others are conventional.
