Tim, when I get home from work this evening, I shall look it up in my full set of factory shop manuals. Then I'll smugly sit and sip a beer, hoping that you are still seeking the answer.

Doesn't matter what you torque them to, the worn brake rotors will cut through them. :D

I think I found it, not sure of the vocabulary though... is that the cover for the final drive?

Oh, sorry... Caesar won't move, just yet.

Oh what a pretty kitty.

Really, REALLY good comedy is very hard to come by these days.

Was going to reply to KRAM but then even more interweb gold. I'll print that for my shop.

Yep. That's the number I need! Where do you find that list??

78F350 04-21-2015 04:37 AM

The list was in the factory workshop manuals. A lucky Craigslist grab.

I was starting to wonder if your pm inbox was full.
Here they are in case anyone needs them in the future:

How do the factory manuals compare to the Bentley repair manual?

The Bentley and 101 projects book get grease and oil on them and occasionally get left on the garage floor overnight. They are good to have in hand while I am doing a job. The format and layout of the Bentley manual is very similar to the workshop manual and almost serves as an index.
For a diagram or detailed reference the workshop manual is best and it stays in the house. Wiring diagrams fold out all-the-way across my desk and are easy to read. Pages aren't crowded or cluttered information is easy to find. Only drawback is when I'm troubleshooting and the manual says to just plug in the PST-2.

Did you not understand the context of my post, it was meant as a joke or do you just not want to get along with me?

Thought you were a boiler guy. The correct torque is half a turn shy of stripped.

Sorry. Just saw this. I meant both replies were very funny.

No issues with anyone hopefully. :)

I love the cat humor

My wife has two black cats (no jokes) that look like the one pictured
