Brake pads and rotors
Anyone purchase from www.etopline.net before? A pair of Zimmermann front rotors for $179 plus $30 shipping. Pagid pads for $94/pair? Is this about right?
Also, does Zimmermann make the original rotors for Porsche? How does the Pagid pads compare to original pads? |
Pagid Pads can be bought for less at www.************************************************************ , I beleive I paid $65 for the front and $70 for the rear.
|
I did a search at ********************************az and it turned up $119 each ($238/pair) for the front rotor and $119 for the front pads.
|
Ops I forgot to mention those were for the Boxster, not Boxster S brakes.
|
BTW, while it is true that zimmerman is/was an OE supplier to Porsche, I have seen those zimmerman rotors crack much more easily at the track, suggesting they are of a different build quality. YMMV, but I will always use Porsche rotors.

Speaking from experience, stay away from the drilled Zimm's!!!
Mine lasted 13k miles with Pagid "Blue" pads, needles to say, I was pissed! Pagid makes an excellent pad and the "Blue" is a good choice for passive agressive street driving. |
