986 S wheels

What are the widest wheels you can use on a Boxster S and what offset/spacers are needed? Prefer 18"

I put these on my 986 (non S) and had to buy a toe adjustment kit to get the alignment correct. My 986 has 2001 S rear axle housings from the big red brake conversion I did. The 10" rears are within camber specs but the outside two inches of tread are not firm on the road until load is put on them. I like the look and the handling but at some point I may go back to 8" tread width on the rears after seeing how the tread wears.
18" Porsche technology/turbo-look wheels with Bridgestone S-02 tires.
Rear: 18x10 (993.362.140.03 ET40), 285/30ZR18
Front: 18x8 (993.362.136.01 ET52), 225/40ZR18

These wheels were original for the Porsche 993 "widebody".
The style is very similar to the Boxster wheels, so they look just right.
They are larger and wider, which makes the car look really great.
They bolt right onto the car with no need for spacers or long bolts.

RH makes replica turbo twists sized 8,5x18 et 52 and 10x18 et 40. Safe choice with smaller tires than 285, prefer more like 255-265/35? Is 11x18 out of reach with 986S even when et is something like 50 or so..?

11" wheel will not fit under the 986 Boxster properly.

Wider wheel than Porsche recommends & narrower tire than anyone approves for that width wheel, yeah why wouldn't that be fine! :chicken:

Funny guy? Of course 265 or 275 but only if et40 permits that...
