Bank 1 and Bank 2

My Boxster books are packed for a move and my electronic manuals died with a computer so I'm going on memory. If you can, please confirm Bank 1 is on the right side, bank 2 is on the left side of the car with the engine installed. I'm still fighting a P1331 code and want verify I'm working on the correct bank.

Bank #1 is the passenger's side.

Edit: Tried to directly link image but couldn't figure it out... The pic is on the page in the previous post.

Ok, that means the passenger side on a left hand drive vehicle? So I'm thinking that means bank one is on the right side of the vehicle?

Hey, this is not a boxster engine, the oil fill tube is pointing towards the front where the drive belts/pulleys are. Or maybe the pulleys are on the wrong end!

Bank 1 of the engine is always viewed from the flywheel end looking forward and is on the right. Bank 2 is always on the left side.

No matter which direction the engine is installed in the vehicle, always view from the flywheel end looking forward to keep it simple.

I ran into this issue years ago when I rebuilt my engine lol!

Remember, the boxster motors are are 180 degrees rotated in relevance to the 911 motors. So bank 2 would be on the left hand side for us and bank 1 would be passenger. (reversed for the Brit's) :D

Thanks everybody. I thought I had the banks correct but wanted to confirm. So the plot sickens. I replaced the camshaft sensor and still got the error code, swapped sensors between banks and still have the same Durametric reading "spec angle for camshaft 2 = 0.00", along with the error code "P1331 Porsche fault code 903 - Inlet camshaft bank 2 Driver"

I buzzed out the 3 wires from the connector at the sensor to the connector in the trunk and all 3 have continuity (sewing pins work great to probe the connectors btw).

So what is next? Is this a computer problem? Everything looks new, no water or mechanical damage anywhere in the system.

Does anyone know what the signals on those 3 lines are supposed to be or how to buzz them out? Is one of them a 12 volt signal I can check? Just what is a bank 2 driver anyway? I thought I was the driver but apparently not, at least not lately, looks like bank 2 is driving, or not... As always, any help, experience, thoughts, or even wild ideas are appreciated.
