Paint Color Matching with no Code
Hi all, so long story short, I had my Boxster painted a while ago by someone who did a great job, but since then it's acquired a few scratches. His shop is no longer in business, so I unfortunately have no way of getting the color codes. Is there any other way to match colors? The car was repainted black with a flat black hood and some thin red lines, if that makes any difference.

decent and better shops have a scanner for color match... in fact, good shops rely more on a scan than any paint code listed...

Alright, sounds good. I'll go check out a few places.

Any NAPA store that sells mixed paint have one. They did my 99 original paint to match my hardtop. They found a closer match than the Porsche code.
