Should I install a Fabspeed Intake Housing w/cone filter?

I have been on the FabSpeed website and am considering replacing the OEM intake filter and air box for their set. It's like $395 for the complete setup, the "V-Flow Air Intake System" is it worth it or not? I've read that the oil used on this type of after market filters is bad for the MAF sensor causing it's early demise. Also that the added air flow comes at a price "more dirt particles" allowed through? I'm only considering it because of the aggressive intake sound when you punch the gas pedal, but is it worth replacing it over the OEM? Please give me your thoughts and opinion.

Thanks
