Bose rear speaker system

Does anyone have this ? Is it worth getting?

I assume you are referring to the two small speakers behind the seats and the sub between the seats? If so, my car has this and I really like it. Still using the stock stereo and stock speakers and stock amp - and think it sounds pretty good when the top is down. (system is totally designed for top down enjoyment). The upgraded bose system with the 6 speakers and sub sounds good to me.

The Bose rear speaker system was part of a separate amp, speakers, rear setup option. It looks like a horn.

There were also kits that fitted rear speakers in the sides of a stock rear removable cubby hole with sliding doors and 2 gaps at the end where the third party speakers went. That works with the non-Bose amps.

Don't try to fit one to the other unless you have some special electronics talent was the advice I always heard.
