OBD fuse?

:( Sorry to be needy on my first post. I'm trying to use the OBD port on my 2002 Boxster but the port is dead. I'm told to check the fuse and all should be well. I've searched here and google, but can't find the answer.

Which fuse is used by the OBD port?

15AMP in B8 should be the one... but other stuff is tied into that as well... anything else that's not working? It could be something else like a bad pin on the OBD port

here is the fuse locations and descriptions
You should have a little book on the fuse panel cover

If you look at the fuses, you can see if one is blown. Probably need a flashlight.

Fuse B8 is ok. Other thought? Or do I need to check fuse-by-fuse?

Try fuses B1 or B10 ("diagnosis").

I hate to mention it, but the port wont do anything until the key is in the 'run' position I believe (it could be the 'on' position too, cant remember). The port has power all the time but wont have any data until you turn the key
