Boxster engine loom

Does a boxster have a seperate engine loom to the rest of the car?

as in, could you get the engine running on a stand.

Cheers

No.

The ECU has to see the low voltage multi-millisecond pulse that comes from the immob. for the start signal.

I take a stock chassis harness and pair it down to exactly what I need to run them on a dyno..

I've done this now for 5-6 years. We typically can pull 20+ lbs out of a 986 harness. 987 Cayman harness? 28-30lbs!!

Here you go.. I test the harness before it goes back into the cars (and before we wrap it with the factory cloth tape.

Hi Rob,

what year car? is it right hand drive or left hand drive? I typically do them on exchange, but I'm **guessing** you have a right hand drive car and I won't have a harness done already for a right hand'r.

I have in stock: 97-99 and 00-03 BoxsterS

I also have a 06-09 987 6speed harness
