What is this part?
 

Anyone know what this is and where it goes?
It's a vent-looking part made from PP and PA66 with an EPDM seal.
It's about the size of a hand. Marked "Inteva products , Germany, 18110579 RAY

Been driving around with it in the trunk, haven't found Its origin. :D

When you smuggle illegal children into the USA in the trunk of your Boxster? This lets them breath :) it fell out.. it belongs in the right hand or left hand corner of the trunk. Snap it back in :)

I was being sarcastic and unsympathetic towards the hoards of illegals crossing our southern borders. And I don't regret it :)

There are a vent looking thing on each side, but nothing that looks like it's going to fit on this part. The children must have taken the whole assembly :D

Smuggling, yes. Children, no.
