Warm start

My car always starts and idles perfect when cold, or even hot start within 10-15 mins. of turning it off, but if it sits 1-2 hrs, it starts but idles rough for about 30 seconds, then clears up and off we go.
Today after sitting for about an hour it did the same thing, so I thought I would help it along by blipping the throttle to help it, which didn't help, plus my CEL started flashing,
I stopped touching the throttle, it cleared up in about 15 seconds, and the light went off!
Any thoughts on this?

Read your codes, you likely have one pending. Flashing CEL = do not run.

Even though the light went off?

You need to read the codes and list them here.

Just scanned the codes, getting P0300, P0304 and P0305,
But no cel light at the moment and running fine.

I searched the forum and it all seems to point at misfire, possibly due to coil packs.
Again today its running perfect, but since I don't have past service history, I've decided to order and replace all coil packs, plugs and tubes regardless.

Could it be related to the secondary air injection?

NewArt 07-30-2014 12:03 PM

Unlikely the SAI but it could be a vacuum leak.

flashing usually indicates a misfire.. codes make sense.
