Stainless Steel Headers/Manifold On Stock Muffler/Exhaust Opinions

Hi guys was thinking of getting stainless headers and keeping the exhaust stock. would I hear a different exhaust sound also would there be any drone? cheers

My first exhaust mod was installing SS headers to the standard system - seemed to rev & sound a little better above 4,000 rpm. No drone.
A couple of word of caution:
Removing the header bolts can be dangerous to your wallet - if they are corroded (you live in a rust area) they can snap off very easily, and removing the stubs can be very difficult.
You cannot re-use the plastic under tray as the headers fit lower than the standard items.

You can use the undertray. I have done so on both my Boxsters now. You just need to crowbar a little bend where they are close.

I don't see the point of doing what you want to do though. I also did that but only becuase the exhaust i wanted to fit needed fettling and I then changed my mind, sold the Dansk on and got something else fitted at a later date.
