98 instrument cluster on a 99? 986

the instrument cluster on my 99 went bad, I recently bought a 98 cluster. everything seems to work, except I have a few error lights all of a sudden, IE. airbag, check engine, brake wear.. I didnt seem to have them on with the old cluster, my car still runs fine.. any idea how i can fix this issue?

98 cluster: 986 641 103 01 70C
99 cluster: 986 641 103 09 70C

Thanks in advance
