transmission ground strap..?
 
Does our cars have a ground cable between the transmission and the frame?

I removed the transmission almost two months ago and have a fuzzy memory, I know that the Alfa Romeo and the Fiat X1/9 have one...

Yesterday after the first drive, I got an check engine light... perhaps forgot the transmission ground strap...? :rolleyes:

I'll assume you have a 2003 S manual since that's what I have. No ground strap.

Sorry, it's an 07 Cayman S with the 6sp

You should be able to find it in the Porsche parts catalogue if there is one 😉

I believe the ground strap is at the starter
