Clutch Life

Iv'e got 180,000Kms with original clutch. (110K Miles)

Combination of mostly suburban/city with prob 25% highway. Am beginning to think clutch might need replacement soon.

Any idea's what I can expect before it gets critical?

The clutch pedal will get heavier and heavier before it eventually starts slipping.

Boxster clutch lives may vary dramatically with owners. I'm doing the IMSB change so my clutch is out at 53K miles (85,000 km).

Thickness of original clutch disc .346 inches
Thickness of new clutch disc .356 inches

Sounds like my original would have lasted well over 100K miles.

Clutch life has a lot to do with how the car is driven. There are owners who will never change the clutch out because it's worn... it will probably be swapped out because there's a transmission issue, a rear main seal leak, or an IMS repair to be made and not doing it right then is a waste of future labor expense.
