No display from my onboard computer

3 day that I have owned this car and the computer display started to flicker off and on. Now is gone. Black screen where I should see my odometer, miles, etc.
This is a 2002 Boxster 48K miles
Did I accidently bump something or hit a wrong setting?
Any and all help and thoughts greatly appreciated.

The bulb might be burned out. Cluster removal can be found on my web site.

These electrical problems are often caused by something as simple as a faulty connection or a poorly attached ground wire. If you look at Wayne Dempster's book (or online links at Pelican Parts) you can get a grasp of the situation in his project "OBC upgrade".
