ipod roadtrip pops from cigarette lighter

I finally got onto the ipod bandwagon and bought the Griffin Roadtrip cigarette charger/fm transmitter module. While I think this solution is fine for now I cannot keep the thing in the cigarette lighter. It's a bit top heavy and pulls out as the cigarette lighter is a bit shallow. After several small bumps the thing pops out and I have to reset it. Any suggestions as to how to keep this thing (or adapters like it) plugged into the lighter so I can enjoy my music?

Well, I got a bit upset at the thing and pulled the two silver spring like connectors from the sides of the unit that plugs in to the lighter and now the thing stays in there pretty tight! I'm probably explaining this in a goofy way but don't know the correct terminologies.
