AOS to throttle body connection
Still troubleshooting rough idle problem on my 2000 Boxster S.
Waiting for a new MAF sensor, but have my doubts in spite of the diagnostic codes and forum suggestions AOS is one year old When looking for broken hoses, etc, I noticed the AOS hose connection to the throttle body was not tight- it easily pulled off, which killed the motor. Could a less than airtight hose connection on the throttle body from the AOS cause a rough idle? I press on it firmly against the body and it seems to make no diff, but pulling it off sure does. RB |

Edit This tube uses a o-ring to seal as long as the hose is on, it is air tight. However it should not easily pull off. If it does, replace with a new hose. |
