Air Conditioning Vacuum hoses?
1999 boxster, I seem to have air coming out the top vents on the dash, so much that it frosts my windshield. I keep having to redirect the settings to floor and the direct flow.. this wasn't happening before. Any way I can check if maybe a vacuum hose came off? And where they would be located? There are none behind the a/c control panel.
Thanks in advance. |
it may be due to low AC gas pressure.
I was told that if the coolant gas pressure is low, then the AC would provide much colder air and lead to "frosting". The pressure difference between the hi and the low side determines how cold the cold side gets. |
Yes I have to agree, being in the hot Miami weather, my a/c seems to be pretty cold, I guess I'll have to get it checked out. Now I need a reliable porsche mechanic in Miami.
