Installing CD Changer DIY

I want to in stall a cd changer in my boxster but I need some help in two areas.
1. Bracket- P/N 996 645 221 00 gets inserted with clips into the bracket mounted on the body left of the spare tire, but how?
2. Data cable- How does the cable get routed in & around the battery and into the firewall? Pics or Instructions welcomed. Thank You 99 Boxster
