245 series front tires on stock 17" wheels

This seems to be one of the biggest 986 discussions out there. What tire sizes to run. After reading and reading I've decided on 245s all around but have conflicting info on this will work on stock front wheels. Is anyone running 245s up front without rubbing? I don't want to run spacers and loose my stock classing.

We're talking about mounting these on the stock 7" wheels, right?

Stock is 205
225s fit nice
Ive tried 235s, but the tire hangs way over the rim. No good.
I imagine 245 will be even worse.

But lets try another wheel...

If you get another set of boxster staggered 17's, you can throw the 8.5" rear wheels up front, no problems.

Im currently running 4 after market 17X9 Cup1 rims on my car with a 15 offset... definitely the wrong offset, but they work. I believe the stock 17X9s have a 55 offset which will be perfect. I was running 245 up front and 275 in the rear, 275s just barely clear up front with camber plates.
