Running a little hotter?

I have a 99' Boxster and noticed the temperature is always around 180 - 215. I see it going up to 200 in a lot of bumper to bumper, stop and go traffic. Is this normal? I've already throughly cleaned out the front air scoops, checked for hose leaks and coolant level.

I have a 1997 in San Jose and never been past the 0 on the 180. I wonder if you have an air pocket in the system. Stop by when we work on cars in San Jose and we will take a look. Jeff
